XXXIXème Meeting International de Natation de Monte Carlo

Mare Nostrum

A prestigious circuit unique in the word !

The Mare Nostrum is a mythical swimming circuit in a 50m pool created in 1994 by the union of the Principality of Monaco, Barcelona and Canet-en-Roussillon. Every year, it offers 3 meetings; the most famous in Europe, spread over 8 days and gathering the best swimmers in the world in a high level competition.

MARE NOSTRUM TROPHY

At each Mare Nostrum meeting, the best performance achieved at the scoring table of each swimmer will be retained without consideration of style or distance:

– Either during a final A

– Either from ¼ of finals for the speed tournament of Monaco

– Or among the 8 best times for the events with time classification.

Two individual rankings: a “Lady” and a “Gentleman” will be built by adding the points thus obtained and will designate the winners of the Mare Nostrum Trophy. These coveted trophies will be awarded during the Closing Ceremony. Moreover, for each new record established, a 750 € bonus will be distributed during this ceremony.
